Downtown

Quaint is one word to describe downtown Victoria. All the brick buildings, cherry trees, cute local coffee shops and friendly people. Shopping in Downtown Victoria is a whole day adventure, because you can shop, have lunch at a great local restaurant, shop some more, take a stroll along the inner habour, shop some more – I think you get the idea.

Lower Johnson Street

Often referred to as “Lo Jo,” this is a cluster of mostly locally owned shops on Johnson St., between Wharf St. and Douglas St. in downtown Victoria.

The Bay Centre

Anchored by the department store the Bay, this downtown mall houses some good chain stores. Make sure to check out the bottom floor, because that’s were the best stores are. Some of the stores you can find here are Costa Blanca, Dynamite, Sirens, etc.

Mayfair Mall

Also anchored by the Bay, Mayfair Mall is about a 10 minute drive away from downtown Victoria. It has stores such as the Gap, Le Chateau, Garage, Stiches, etc.
